Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock. As 2011 comes to a close, we thought it a proper way to bid the year farewell by taking one last peek into the bags of some pretty fabulous women. So what’s in their bags? As a relocation specialist, Josie is an expert at assisting executives and their families relocate to her company’s global posts. She’s also incredibly savvy at organizing holiday events appropriate for friends, families and even select colleagues. While Josie is fortunate to be able to pull off a luxurious fete, it’s her attention to detail and the warm cozy atmosphere she creates that makes her invite covetable. Even with a guest list of 30 plus, the intimate vibe is apparent; partly because Josie does most of the event shopping herself. You’ll also find tucked in her shopper, 2011 holiday Brookfield Letterpress notecards for guests to pen their resolutions as the clock ticks onward, cigars for the men and Chinese party slippers for the ladies (because Loubatins were designed for strutting, not standing and dancing for hours).

In Stephanie’s soft metallic clutch we’ll find the essentials of course – mascara, smudge kohl eyeliner, lip gloss, credit card and cash for the taxi that will be impossible to catch at both 9:30PM and 3:00AM. Gum for New Years Eve kissing and her iphone with special apps for tracking gal pals in need or whom get lost in celebration.

Yes, even big girls like to have sleep overs. This New Years Eve, Kate will be attending a holiday slumber party and pajama brunch. For some, going out to a party or club on New Years Eve is as appealing as a root canal – simply not an activity you want to partake in.
NYE Pamper Party
At the fete Kate will be attending, all things pampering like deluxe facials, mani-pedis, caviar, lobster and of course champagne will be on the event’s menu. In her leather weekender, you’ll find, silk pajamas and a cashmere oversize “boyfriend” sweater. You’ll also find her workout gear – trainers, sports bra and the works so that she start her New Year’s resolutions ASAP and burn off all those foie gras calories.
